Pipe anti-corrosion, the Royal Garden Hotel in the UK has introduced NMR pipe protectors.
As a result of verifying the red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" in the hot water supply piping, a significant cost reduction was achieved, lowering the piping renewal costs to 1/50.
The Royal Garden Hotel London is beloved by travelers from around the world as one of the leading five-star hotels. Constructed in 1965, by 2007, it had been 42 years since its establishment, and the deterioration of the hot water supply pipes had progressed. Due to the use of iron pipes, internal rust corrosion had advanced, resulting in relatively dark red water emerging every morning when the tap was turned on. To address this, three "NMR Pipe Protectors" were installed on the main hot water supply pipe in the boiler room. Before installation, two weeks after installation, and then monthly for 12 months, water quality tests were conducted to measure the iron content in the water due to rust. As a result, it was found that the iron content in the water within the pipes had significantly decreased immediately after installation. Since the effectiveness of rust prevention was quantitatively proven, the hotel also installed NMR Pipe Protectors in the air conditioning pipes. Ultimately, while the cost of pipe renewal was approximately 1.5 billion yen, the total cost of the NMR Pipe Protectors was about 30 million yen, resulting in a cost that was 1/50 of the original estimate. In terms of cost-effectiveness, it far exceeded the hotel's expectations. *Customer feedback (customer testimonials) and other PDF materials are available for free! *Please feel free to contact us first.
